Hindi is the simplest source of expression of our Nation.
It is celebrated as an event every year on 14th of September, because the Hindi language (written in Devanagari script) was first adopted by the Constituent Assembly of India as the official language of the Republic of India on 14th of September in 1949.
Every year it is celebrated by the students of Meenakshi Public School, Sector 10- A, Gurugram with a lot of fervour by organizing a number of activities. As part of observing the day to show their appreciation towards the national language, a speech highlighting the importance of Hindi language in the country and abroad was given followed by recitation of Kabir’s Dohey . Hindi Poetry writing was also organized and the best poems paved way to the display board. Ms Geeta Yadav , Head of the Department told that it is the language spoken as a mother tongue by around 258 million people and known as the 4th largest language of the world and every Indian should give value to the Hindi language and credit for the economic advancement in the country.
