True friendship is like sound health;
the value of it is seldom known until it is lost."
In today’s society, it is more important than ever for children to have a positive attitude toward our friends in the neighborhood and community helpers. Keeping the tradition alive and fostering virtues, Meenakshi Public School, Sector 10- A Gurugram celebrated International Friendship Day on 4 August 2018 in the school premises.
A special assembly was presented by the students of Aravali House on Saturday, 4th August 2018 to mark the occasion. Nistha of Class IX C and Geetakshu of Class X A told that the school’s community helpers are our most important friends because they make our lives better, keep us and the school community safe and sound. They were being honoured with the beautiful friendship cards made by the students of class VI, VII & VIII and were presented by the children. The entire school echoed “Best Friends Forever”.
On the occasion, Middle Wing Coordinator, Ms Navina Das appreciated the efforts of the school helpers and called them as one of the strongest pillars and added that we must be grateful to people who make us happy as they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom.
